&tradition is a design house established in Denmark in 2010 and their founding principal is "tradition tied to innovation". They are certainly influenced by Nordic heritage, the designers selected are international with varying scopes and visions. A desire to innovate and push for new manufacturing techniques spurs them on to creating some truly fantastic pieces, of which the Copenhagen certainly is.

This pendant is unique in that it allows the light to shine from both the top and the bottom. The soft and smooth light from the top creates halo like glow above the fitting which illuminates the space in a calming fashion. The smooth design and texture is amplified with the matte paint finish that allow for the subtle displacement of light throughout the room. 

The shade itself is made from high quality aluminium and it comes with a suspension cord of a maximum of 150cm. Only the finest materials have been used to create this product and the paint finish is second to none.
